These terms govern your use of Triage, an app and service operated by Smartsby, LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Triage, you agree to them.
Triage connects to email accounts you authorize and turns the messages that need you into tasks. We work to keep it running well, but it's provided "as is": we don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that it will sort every email the way you would.
You're responsible for the accounts and mailboxes you connect to Triage, and for making sure you have the right to grant Triage access to them (e.g. a work inbox you don't personally own may require your employer's permission). You can disconnect a mailbox or delete your account at any time in the app, under Settings.
New accounts get a free one-month trial, which starts when you connect your first mailbox. During the trial you can connect one mailbox. No payment details are needed for the trial, and it doesn't turn into a paid subscription on its own. Each email account gets one trial.
After the trial, Triage needs a subscription. The plans are:
| Plan | Mailboxes | Monthly | Yearly |
|---|---|---|---|
| Triage Personal | 1 | $2.99 | $24.99 |
| Triage Pro | Up to 3 | $4.99 | $39.99 |
Prices are in US dollars. Monthly plans include an introductory price of $0.99 a month for the first 3 months, then renew at the regular monthly price. The store decides who is eligible for an introductory price; usually it's once per person. The price shown in the app at the time you subscribe is the one that applies.
You buy a subscription through Apple's App Store or Google Play, using the account signed in on your device, and that store handles the payment:
When a trial or subscription ends, Triage stops checking your mail and your tasks become read-only. They stay in your account, and subscribing again picks up where you left off. To remove your data, delete your account.
Apple and Google aren't parties to these terms and aren't responsible for Triage or its support. If you got Triage from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; Google Play's terms apply to purchases made there.
Don't use Triage to violate the law, to access mailboxes you're not authorized to access, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
Triage is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Triage and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any loss or misclassification of email.
You may stop using Triage, disconnect your mailboxes, or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or misuses the service. Ending your access doesn't cancel a store subscription; cancel it as described above.
We'll update the "Last updated" date above when these terms change. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
